Tauranga Photographic Society ran a beginner's photography course (Taking

will be followed by a
'Beyond the Basics' course commencing mid-June. See here
or email
Trish for further details, or to register interest for future courses.
See the Club News & Events page for information on Special Interest Groups and other workshops being held during the year.
To see examples of individual members work, visit our gallery pages for club evaluation results, or the Salon Successes, Natex and Canon On-Line pages for photos which have done well in outside competitions.
Tauranga Photographic Society is affiliated with the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ), and participates in the National Interclub Competitions. Club members can attend PSNZ National and Regional Conventions which are held in various parts of the country each year. Tauranga hosted the Northern Regional in October 2006.
We are responsible for organising the annual Western Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Photographic Competition, with the aim of encouraging young photographers in our local area.
